Headed for South America

I am now 20 days from being in Montevideo, Uruguay for an entire semester. At this point, I am starting to freak out just a tad...I am running around doing various errands that have to be done before I leave, I'm planning trips, and I'm packing--or at least I'm trying to do all of these things.

I am starting this blog early so that I can make sure I have set it up right, who knows what glitches I may run into in Uruguay. I don't know how often I will be able to post but I will do my best to keep everyone updated. In the mean time, I ask for prayers for the pre-departure rush as well as during my time abroad.

Now you may be curious to know the reason why I titled this blog: "¿Dónde está la biblioteca?" well there is this TV show called Community, I don't necessarily recommend it, however it does provide the occasional laugh. There is a rap that two of the main characters perform that you can check out here. Ever since I heard this rap, I have loved it-first off it's in Spanish and secondly it makes absolutely no sense, it's great! So when I was trying to decide on a title for this blog (I don't blog often) this rap kept playing in my head and then I thought why can't that just be the title, it has a little bit of everything. Since I am studying in South America what better phrase than, "Where's the Library?" to describe my time abroad.

I am eagerly and nervously awaiting the day when I get to begin this adventure and I hope and pray that God uses this time in Uruguay to help me grow spiritually and culturally.
